After fleeing to the continental United States from Shanghai, China, an immigrant couple manages to settle down and create a family. Over the years, a unique unique tradition unfolds. The family’s tradition of making a midnight trip with a banana sailing boat to a local pond is set in motion. The family’s sons, Jimmy and Pepe are determined to relinquish this tradition, but the rest of the family, including Jimmy and Pepe's mother, go on a banana boat adventure of their own. An ironic counter-tradition forms as mother and son end up in the same pond. A trio of teenage girls named Louie, Cherie, and Sunny inform Jimmy and Pepe that they have the family tradition of making banana boat trips. Three weeks later, the two families meet for production, but no one realizes the settled families have unwittingly switched over to a counter-tradition. d2c66b5586
