If you do not want to use the open source version of LyricsPro or your song is from an entirely different music directory you can use theLyricsPro Converter to convert your OpenSong lyric file to LyricsPro format.

So now I want to make sure that my song is in the correct order, so we can get out of this text box, and as you can see here I typed in the verse number, and I typed in the chapter number, and I typed in the title of the song, and I typed in the album name. And what this is telling me is that if I want the lyrics to display in the order that I've typed in here, I need to make sure that my song is in the same order. So I'm going to go over to the songs folder, and I'm going to move this song just a bit, so that this slide is lined up with the next slide.

So our plan is to import open lyrics files into LyricsPro and then add the Music Player module to our slides. So we need to do is import our song, and then we just want to have a stage action for it, so we can add our Music Player module in the next section.

So we're going to go to the next slide and we're going to add in a new lyric to this first slide. So here is a sample lyric that I have in LyricsPro. This is from the song, Hands o' Mercy. And as you can see I have put that into LyricsPro, but I want to add it as a stage action. So I'll just drag and drop that and then I'm going to go to the next slide. And we'll go into that. And I want to add in a lyric, so I'll just go into my lyric file, I'll just add in the song name, and I will drag and drop. And I'll go in and I'll change this to a stage action, and I'll choose the music that I want to play on this first slide and I'll go into it and I'll do what we talked about, and I'll add in any music based on what I want to play when I go back to this slide.

Hi guysI know this is an old post but I'd like to add my story to the story of how you can add Song Select to the VP Pro 8 iBook.I followed the directions provided in the post above (add song select to VP 8) and although it was going well, I kept getting a warning message that I couldn't import song select to VP Pro 8.After some research I discovered that the problem was that I had a version of song select that was using a different type of.usr file. I'm running VP Pro 8 on a iBook G4 and song select uses an.usr file that's been built specifically for the iBook. Using Song Select's more current release (1.15) I was able to import my Song Select.usr file to VP Pro 8.As far as I'm concerned the biggest advantage of VP Pro 8 is the ease of importing song select into it. Now the song selector can be used on several of my iBooks. Although the Song Select ChordCharts are not the same as the Song Select ChordCharts that can be imported into VP Pro 8, the Song Select ChordCharts are still useful in that they're a great way to organize your songbook.
